F.O.S Biopharmaceutical

Production & Supply:

Our production lines refers to the sequence of interconnected processes & equipment used to manufacture biopharmaceutical products in a systematic and efficient manner. Our production line typically consists of several stages, each with specific tasks and objectives aimed at producing high-quality biopharmaceuticals.

On this page is an overview of the key components typically found in our biopharmaceutical production lines:

Processes & Equipment

Cell Culture or Fermentation:

The production process often begins with the cultivation of genetically engineered cells in bioreactors. In the case of fermentation-based production, microorganisms such as bacteria, yeast, or fungi are grown in bioreactors under controlled conditions to produce the desired biopharmaceutical product. Alternatively, cell culture involves the growth of mammalian or plant cells in bioreactors to produce recombinant proteins or monoclonal antibodies.

Harvesting:

Once the cells have reached the desired level of growth and productivity, they are harvested from the bioreactor. This may involve separation techniques such as centrifugation or filtration to isolate the cell culture broth or fermentation broth containing the target product.

Downstream Processing:

The harvested cell culture or fermentation broth undergoes a series of purification and separation steps to isolate and purify the biopharmaceutical product from other cellular components and impurities. Downstream processing typically includes steps such as clarification, chromatography, filtration, and concentration to achieve the desired purity and potency of the final product.

Formulation:

After purification, the biopharmaceutical product may undergo formulation steps to ensure stability, compatibility, and ease of administration. Formulation may involve mixing the purified product with excipients, stabilizers, and buffers to create a final dosage form suitable for injection, infusion, or other routes of administration.

Biopharmaceutical Production

F.O.S Biopharmaceutical production and supply, we refer to our processes involved in manufacturing, distributing, and delivering biopharmaceutical products to client's and patients. Our biopharmaceuticals are medical

drugs produced using biological sources, such as living organisms or their components, and they are typically used for the treatment of various

diseases and medical conditions. Here's our overview of the key aspects

involved in biopharmaceutical production and supply:

Research and Development (R&D):

Research and Development (R&D): The process begins with R&D efforts to discover and develop new biopharmaceutical products. This involves identifying potential drug targets, conducting preclinical studies, and eventually moving into clinical trials to assess safety and efficacy.
